Background
SNAD Foundation Bangladesh (SNADF) started its journey as a non-political, not-for-profit, non-government organisation of Bangladesh in the year 2008 to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of adversity and provide means of empowering communities.
The organisation thrives with the idea of empowering the women and children through education, skill development training and being able to serve humanity by providing medical services as well as safe surgical care to the underprivileged.
Objectives
SNADF seeks to provide both short-term impactfull and long-term sustainable development solutions.
The goals are to remedy pressing, immediate community concerns while establishing lasting partnerships to create and implement initiatives for development and advancement in the areas of Health, Education, Skills for Earning, Women Empowerment & Gender Equality and Environmental Protection.
Expertise
SNADF collaborates with organizations, agencies and institutions to develop programs on shared value that blend service to the community and advocacy of needed change by establishing and strengthening coalition with government, social welfare organizations and international & local NGOs to enable better delivery of services. Our projects include meaningful engagement with our partners and stakeholders.

Activities at a glance
- Free treatment and care of the underprivileged and unfortunate, who are denied of access to specialized health care which includes but not limited to: free cleft surgery, health awareness camp, free eye treatment and surgery preventing blindness, treatment underprivileged children, and maternal health care.
- Ensuring safe drinking water in rural areas and providing deep tube well which is considered to be most suitable safe water option.
- Dispute resolution in local communities through educational and social awareness programs.
- Skill development programs for women. Encouraging & supporting women entrepreneurship by implementing "Skills for earning" programs.
- Establish and strengthen coalition with government, social welfare organizations and international and local NGO to enable better delivery of services for children and poor people.
- Facilitate programs and training to doctors and medical professionals.
- General educational camps and programs to improve nutritional status of children.
- Provide prosthetic and wheelchairs to the disables.
- Emergency response & Humanitarian activities like flood relief, winter clothes & blankets, financial support etc.
